Here are some random but awesome things about their culture. Close to half of the Swedish people are Roman Catholic.

School is free until age 15 so some kids drop out. But, most go to college.
The enrollment rate in Switzerland is lower than most countries.
So, our schools are pretty different then theirs are in Switzerland.

Land Features

Switzerland has a lot of different land features. Here is a little about them.
Some people may not want to go there if they don’t like the cold because it is cold and snowy there.
Also, it is mountainous so hikers may like it here.
Country people may also want to move there because there is flat green regions.
Farmers will hate it here because it is wayyy too cold to grow crops.
Only about 1/4 of the land can be used for farming, because of the cold and maybe of not good soil.

Migration (S)

Switzerland has one of the most immigration rates in Europe,22.4% are foreign born.

Here is a little history about immigration.
In the 1600's, people moved there from France where they were being prosecuted for their religious beliefs. They moved to Switzerland to had freedom of religion.

Then, in the nineteenth century they hired many Italian workers to work in machine factories. That really increased the population.

Transportation

The main transportation is Switzerland is pretty much just liken ours.  They use bikes, boats, trains, buses and cars.  But since everything in Europe is more close together and the roads are small, they made all of the cars small!  So, if they use a car, it is something like a smart car.
They have eight major airports.
To drive anything, you need a permit(license) called a vignette.

Some of the languages in Switzerland are German, French, Italian and Romansch.
The children can speak at least two languages fluently.
But, the main language is Swiss German

Also,Gute nacht means "good evening".

The Natural Resources of Switzerland (S)

There is not that many natural resources in Switzerland. There are so few, we couldn't even find out what they were!
But, they are known as the banking and finance capital of the world.
Tourism also drives the economy instead of natural resources.
The Swiss are also known for cheese, chocolate and fancy watches.
The currency of Switzerland is the Franc.
So, even though the Swiss don't have many resources, they do manage to do well in the business world with excellent craftsmanship and the other things I said.
