The climate in Switzerland is cold. The winters are long and icy. The average summer temperature is 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The average winter temperature is 27-32 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a lot like Wisconsin. The cold climate will effect why people would move there because some people don't like cold weather mostly year round. The winter is long that you can't plant crops because the growing season is too short.
